Red Dead Redemption su PC non è mai stao nei piani di Rockstar?

Non è un mistero che molti giocatori PC aspettino ancora con speranza un porting di Red Dead Redemption, praticamente l'unico titolo Rockstar a non essere mai approdato su personal computer.

Ma pare che ci dovremo rassegnare, se le parole di Kris Roberts Lead Multiplayer Designer sono veritiere e soprattutto basate su conoscenze fondate.

Come scovato dai ragazzi di DSOGaming, durante una diretta live ha candidamente ammesso che:

“I don’t think there was ever an intention to have a PC version of Red Dead Redemption. I was actually really shocked that they did a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V. Obviously in development, we wre all PC based and had it running for one or two clients for the entire development. But as far as the licensing for the consoles and stuff, it was pretty much always going to be an X360 and PS3 title… we never really seriously talked about optimizing it for PC.”

"Non penso ci sia mai stata l'intenzione di avere una versione PC di Red Dead Redemption. Sono rimasto persino piuttosto scioccato quando hanno fatto Gran Theft Auto V su PC. Ovviamente durante lo sviluppo, lavoriamo su PC. Ma per quanto riguarda le licenze, è sempre stato previsto per X360 e PS3... non abbiamo mai parlato seriamente di una ottimizzazione PC".
